Our Mission
IISE provides leadership in developing industrial engineering; representing the industrial engineering profession; and enhancing the capabilities of those who are involved in or manage the application, education, training, research, or development of industrial engineering. (http://www.iise.org/)
IISE is a student-run organization that provides professional, social, and service opportunities for Industrial Engineers at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Professional events allow students to network and gain industry insight. Social events give members a chance to ditch the books and get to know their peers, while service outings encourage members to not only be good but do good in the community. IISE provides learning and leadership opportunities for students of all levels while promoting engagement with the Industrial and Systems Engineering department as well as the College of Engineering as a whole. Because IISE at UIUC is a nationally recognized chapter, students are also given the opportunity to connect with IISE students and professionals on a national scale to increase exposure and build professional networks.
